About EarthMama

EarthMama Travels has been set up by  Manon Tromp (1963) – I lived and worked in Glastonbury UK, also known as the Isle of Avalon, the hearth chakra of the world. I made it my home in 2012 after having travelled there from the Netherlands for over a period of 10 years. I recently returned to the Netherlands, but will still be doing my retreats and tours in the UK.  I was born in Amsterdam and I have two amazing children. In my old life, as I call it, I worked as a Human Resources Consultant and Life Coach.  I became interested in spirituality when I was in my twenties and started to explore the unseen by attending workshops on Intuition and energy work. I always felt that there was more than just the mundane 9 to 5 society that I was in and I now know that my soul was crying out for fulfilment and nourishment. My first visit to Glastonbury in 2002 changed my life and opened a source of creativity and imagination with

in myself. I started writing articles for spiritual magazines, creating songs, set up a Goddess Temple in the Netherlands and organised small tour groups to visit Glastonbury.

Working with Mother Earth

To make a long story short: I now live in Glastonbury doing what I do from the heart and not just from the mind. I call myself a Earth Priestess – my work is to connect people again with the earth and to bring her life energy back into their lives. We are part of this Earth, but we do forget because of the demands  of modern society which is based on unnatural principals. We can loose ourselves and not know anymore what really is important – the Earth will always let you remember who you are and why you are here.

I work as a Sacred Tour Guide and Organiser, I am a Retreat Co-Ordinator and I love to write and sing. I am blessed to work together with a few other women tour guides in our enterprise: Mystical Earth Tours. But most of all I love to travel and over the years I have been very lucky to have visited some amazing places in the world and meeting lovely people. Travelling is important for expanding your awareness and opening up your mind to so many more ways of being and living. I have found that people who travel (at least the ones I met) tend to be open, empathic, curious and more appreciative of what live has to offer. I have learned a lot from my travels, but mostly I have learned how much beauty Mother Earth has. I see the magic in every flower, tree, mountain, river and lake. I look up into the sky and I wonder how this is all possible and how much more there is out there that we do not know about. There is magic in life and I love to connect with that. This does not mean that you have to physically travel to another country to get that magical feeling, it can happen in the area around you. Travelling for me means taking me places on all levels but most of it is a way to connect with the sacred and the divine.

‘ Life is a journey – we are on a travel even if you feel stuck in your life’
